Data Analysis
Once you've drawn shapes on the map, AGMT can extract street names and address counts from within those boundaries — and keep the numbers updated in real time as you work.
Prerequisites
- You need at least one closed shape on the map. See Shape Tools to learn how to draw.
What You Can Analyse
Coming Soon: Additional analysis types are in development, including: - House number extraction - Highway speed limits Stay tuned for future updates!
Sidebar Statistics
The sidebar always displays live statistics, regardless of which page or panel you're on:
| Metric | Description |
|---|---|
| Total shapes | How many shapes are currently on the map. |
| Total teams | All teams — including those with no shapes assigned yet. |
| Total streets | Sum of unique streets across all analysed shapes. |
| Total addresses | Sum of addressable properties across all analysed shapes. |
| Per-team breakdown | Streets and addresses grouped by team. |
These numbers update automatically whenever you:
- Create, resize, or delete a shape.
- Assign or reassign a shape to a different team.
- Add or remove a team.
How Address Counting Works
| Region | Data Source | Accuracy |
|---|---|---|
| Leicester City | OS Open UPRN via Advanced Data Matching | Building-level precision |
| All other areas | OpenStreetMap & Overpass API | Varies by region |
The Advanced Data Matching process bridges the gap between standard map data and official government address records — giving you precise counts without needing to handle any raw datasets yourself.
To understand the data-source icons that appear next to address counts, see Data Source Indicators.
